Product Overview

Riser tubes are key components in the low-pressure casting process, acting as channels for molten alloy to fill the mold cavity.

Performance Requirements:

1. High-temperature strength: Good high-temperature strength and resistance to thermal shock from rapid heating and cooling.

2. Oxidation and corrosion resistance: Excellent resistance to oxidation and corrosion at high temperatures.

3. Shape and structure: Process-compliant shape and structure for easy fabrication.

Material Types:

1. Conventional materials: Such as low-carbon steel seamless tubes, with good comprehensive mechanical properties and easy machining.

2. Premium materials: Silicon nitride riser tubes, featuring outstanding high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, suitable for harsh working conditions.

Working Principle: The lower end is immersed in the molten alloy inside the holding furnace, and the upper end connects to the mold cavity. Under pressure, molten alloy flows upward into the mold cavity to complete casting.
